1) ELWOOD will be playing at Johnny Vigs Saturday, February 18th beginning at 9pm. If you've never seen Elwood live-you're missing out. Jim and Rick are awesome. An aside, Johnny Vigs has terrific drink prices and specials. Definitely Team Walker Approved.

2) Anyone else notice that BadaBing on Main & Jefferson has already said "Bye-Bye?" Well, it lasted a few months at least. I'll just throw out this random piece of advice. If you decide to go to the trouble of opening a bar in Downtown Peoria-make sure your public knows when you're open. You may not be doing your customers a favor by closing on Mondays, opening at 11:00pm on Tuesdays, 9pm on Thursdays, 10pm on the weekends etc... I really know very little about the owners or how the establishment was run. I just think if you're going to put together a business plan and go through the process of obtaining a liquor license, you may want to put together hours of operation that aren't too confusing.

3) I hope everyone enjoyed the J. Michael Sullivan inspired article, "Butt Out!" in Wednesday's Journal Star as much as I did. I can't even begin to count the Sullyism's we picked out.

I have no idea what's going on with my posts but it doesn't make me happy. I think I'm going to go with Blog Peoria and get a different template. At least, that's what Uncle Bill has suggested I do. Changes should be coming soon...

So, Rob's in beautiful Las Vegas. He and Donny's mother-in-law were on the same flight out of Peoria. Of course, the first night he was gone, Vito decided to pick a battle with the much more dominant Aiko dog. That was fun. I'm a little hoarse today because of "The Voice" I had to use.

The Explorer has been at the dealership for quite some time. Little Baby Hawaiin Punch has been ill. I picked it up this morning and low and behold, it was back at the dealership this afternoon. Vehicles probably shouldn't vibrate when stopped at a light or intersection...So, I've got the same loaner and hopefully I'll hear something next week.
